My designs use a variety of mixed mediums: paint, canvas, paper, pencil, charcoal, wood, metal, textiles, sound recordings and more.

I am intrigued by how we are affected by our environment through everyday visuals and sound. I am most interested in the texture and tactile elements that we don't see or take for granted. I record and use pre-existing sounds from different environments to manipulate the medium into a finished product.

I am influenced by many artists like Wassily Kandinsky but also musicians/scientists like Ernst Chladni ("Father of Acoustics"). Kandinsky and Chladni's ideas and work inspired me to investigate the inherent patterns in our everyday world. This is my approach and study in my art work.
